About FileQuick
FileQuick is a free, browser-based file conversion service designed for everyday use. We built it with a single goal in mind: make common file conversions fast, simple, and completely private — without requiring you to create an account or install any software.
Whether you need to convert a JPG image to PDF for a job application, merge multiple PDFs into one document, or reduce a large PDF file for emailing — FileQuick handles it all directly in your browser. No files are ever sent to a server. Everything runs locally on your device.
Why we built FileQuick
Most online file converters either require you to sign up, charge money after a free trial, or upload your files to a remote server. We think that is unnecessary for simple conversions. Modern browsers are powerful enough to handle PDF rendering, image manipulation, and file generation entirely on the client side.
FileQuick was built to remove every barrier between you and a converted file. No accounts. No waiting. No privacy trade-offs.
How it works
All conversions on FileQuick are powered by open-source JavaScript libraries running inside your browser. For PDF creation and merging, we use pdf-lib. For rendering PDF pages as images, we use PDF.js from Mozilla.
When you drop a file onto FileQuick, it is read directly by your browser. The resulting file is generated in memory and downloaded straight to your device. At no point does your file leave your computer.

Our commitment to privacy
